How this works
gamelake is built by one person. Every game is generated by a pipeline of local LLMs running on hardware in my apartment — no cloud model APIs. Each game takes roughly an hour of generation, iteration, and a lot of failed attempts.
The loop
- Suggest a game idea (one tap to sign in).
- Vote on the ideas you want to see built.
- The top idea goes into the next generation.
- You get an email when it's live — then play and remix it.
Because generation is slow and hands-on, the site isn't "click to generate." It's a board with a queue: the crowd picks the next build, I run it, and the result shows up in the catalog.
Played something you liked? Hit remix on its page to tweak the prompt and drop your version back into the queue.
